  • From the mid 90's to 2005 I was the preparator and technician for 3 organisations: grunt gallery (Vancouver BC), Open Space Arts Society (Victoria BC) and LIVE Biennial of Performance Art (Vancouver BC). Duties for all 3 were esentially the same:

    • care and maintenance of the physical plant.

      installation and strike of all installations, performances and concerts. This involved many skills including set up and operation of sound stages and equipment, single and multi channel video recording and playback, hanging artwork, constructing screens, stages, display cases, etc.

      liasing and planning with artists to ensure all technical specs of the show are met

      obtaining permissions, permits and insurance as well as ensuring events conformed to municipal codes
